South-West Coordinator at Code Club UK@CodeClubSW
Caroline is currently responsible for looking after the South-West Region of Code Clubs. Code Club aims to inspire the next generation to get excited about computer science, to give children the opportunity to learn how to code and as part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation aims to put the power of digital-making into the hands of people all over the world.
Caroline is passionate about working with children, educators, technologists, corporates and CEOs, all with the common aim of supporting our next generation become aware of future digital-led jobs and opportunities.
Caroline has a long career in software development. She previously worked at Microsoft where she started as a student in Word (Windows and Ms-Dos) Team and became their Developer Support Engineer supporting C/C++ after gaining her BSc(Hons) degree in Computer Science.
Later on, Caroline joined the newly formed team of Northern-European Escalation Engineers for Developer Tools before becoming an Online Solutions Architect specialising in ISP/networking, training, technology adoption advice and skills transfer guidance.
